The value of a workers’ compensation case is based mainly on the impairment rating given to you by your doctor. That, along with your average weekly wage, and your age when the doctor places you at maximum medical improvement, will usually give us the value. There may be other factors that play a part in the value of your case, including what permanent work restrictions you have, your education, work history, and future medical care you may need. However, we cannot tell you what your case is worth until you reach maximum medical improvement.
