It is not how long your case will take, but how long it’s going to take for you to heal. Some people heal faster than others and some heal slower. Some people respond to treatment and some do not. Bottom line, we try not to settle a case until you have hit Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI). Once you have gotten to this stage, we can order the final reports from the doctor. These reports will give us information about such things as further care, work/activity restrictions, and permanency. It is not until we have these reports that we can resolve the case.
